This week's message video

<< New text box >>

Our Church family were saddened by the news that our dearly loved sister Mandi Bath has passed away. She has been a dedicated member of our fellowship since she moved into the village a few years ago and we will miss her so much.
Our love and prayers go out to her daughters Jade and Jasmine, her parents Jacqui and Roy and the rest of her family, especially her granddaughter Rosemarie, whom she adored.
The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Message from the Leadership Team

Updated - Monday 19 October 2020

We will continue meeting for Sunday services in the Village Hall and hope you will be able

to join us. Please contact us via the church website if you wish to attend.

We have a new sermon series based around the words of 1 Peter 1:3-9

and next Sunday (25th) Daniel will be sharing on new birth.

We shall continue to film the message part of the service

and send links to the worship music used in the service.

Please be aware to keep the 1 metre rule at all times

and that we have a strict one way in and out policy.

Masks must be worn at all times please.

We recognise that everyone will make their own decisions about attendance

at the hall and we respect that.

Cheerful Cuppa re-opened last week and is abiding

by all the current social distancing measures.

The volunteers who staff the cafe have all got the necessary PPE.

Tea & Toast will continue to remain closed until further notice

but there is the  Tea and Toast Facebook group which publishes videos of

Andy's songs and Bible stories.

Our midweek groups are meeting online.

Please contact Andy or Lynda if you wish to join one.

We have an archive of other recent video sermons available here

We ask that you continue to do your best to stay safe, and be sensible.

If you have any of the symptoms of the Corona Virus

(persistent cough, high fever or breathing difficulties)

please follow NHS advice and self-isolate.

Stay Safe and God Bless

The New Building

We have been praying consistently as to whether acquiring the former Durrington Free Church building was the Lord’s will for us. The leadership has now been informed that we have been gifted this building.

Praise God!

Our overseer Brian Meardon has said:

"Praise our Lord for His hand upon all that is taking place.

Jesus said that He only did that which He saw His Father doing.

We pray that the Lord will show you how this sign will develop and flourish."

We must emphasise that there is a long way to go but we need to praise God for this answer to prayer.

We have made no moves yet but we want to begin to ask for an input from you for your initial thoughts about how best to use this facility.

We need to read the relevant paper work first but it would be useful to know what others are thinking.  We need prayerful thoughts.

We hope to meet as a leadership soon and discuss the whole development, but clearly it is something that everybody can contribute thoughts to. So please pray and do give us your thoughts.

Street Pastors are operating in the Amesbury area now and need volunteers and prayer support.

Please contact GWEN LESLIE ON 0778 5548 576 TO EXPRESS INTEREST.
