Message from the
Church Leadership Team
Updated - Monday 18th January 2021
Our next Sunday service will be the second part in our sermon series on the
Gospel of Mark. Daniel will be looking at Mark 3:13 to 6:6.
Below is a table detailing the sermon series with dates and titles of topics.
We shall continue to film the message part of the service
and send links to the worship music used in the service.

Cheerful Cuppa has now closed again with the current lockdown restrictions.
Tea & Toast will continue to remain closed until further notice
but there is the Tea and Toast Facebook group which publishes videos of songs and Bible stories.
Our midweek groups are meeting online.
Please contact Andy or Lynda if you wish to join one.
The Street-based youth work organised by local Youth Leader Becky Lock
and supported by the church has also had to close during the new lockdown.
As a church, we continue to pray for the youth team and the young people in our village.
We have an archive of other recent video sermons available here

We have been praying consistently as to whether acquiring the former Durrington Free Church building was the Lord’s will for us. The leadership has now been informed that we have been gifted this building.
Praise God!
Our overseer Brian Meardon has said:
"Praise our Lord for His hand upon all that is taking place.
Jesus said that He only did that which He saw His Father doing.
We pray that the Lord will show you how this sign will develop and flourish."
We must emphasise that there is a long way to go but we need to praise God for this answer to prayer.
We have made no moves yet but we want to begin to ask for an input from you for your initial thoughts about how best to use this facility.
We need to read the relevant paper work first but it would be useful to know what others are thinking. We need prayerful thoughts.
We hope to meet as a leadership soon and discuss the whole development, but clearly it is something that everybody can contribute thoughts to. So please pray and do give us your thoughts.
